Unlike a user manual, but still as informative as it can be, this mash up series is a must read for any fan of the popular Fortnite video game series as well as fans of Batman comics. The World’s Greatest Detective was able to confirm the real purpose of the games mysterious and impenetrable three hatches found on Fortnite island. After gathering enough energy sources found from items around the island that have been in contact with agents, Batman is able to open one of the hatches. By using a replicated agent signature, he reveals what’s been there the whole time: supplies, arsenals, agent staging grounds and more! The Dark Knight and crew end up finding a war room and scattered artifacts that feature mysterious writing. Batman’s translation deduces that the organization behind the island believes that reality was born from the Zero Point, a tower of energy in the planet’s core, and hope to use its powers for their bidding. This leads them to portals requiring multiversal energy harnessed by a character which can then return them to their respective homes. This sheds light on how the characters from the Fortnite series end up on the island, and how they may return home.
